Privacy Policy
How Jetpack Racing Hub collects, uses and protects your information — written in plain English, because privacy policies should be readable by the people they protect.

What We Collect
We collect the minimum needed to run the portal and its services:
- Account data — pilot ID, email and platform when you register or contact us.
- Gameplay data — checkpoints, lap times and rankings, required to run leaderboards and progression.
- Support data — messages you send the desk, plus device model and OS version when you report bugs.
- Telemetry (opt-in) — anonymous usage metrics you can switch off in settings.
We do not collect contacts, photos, precise location or anything the game doesn't need.
How It's Used
Data does exactly three jobs here: it makes the game work (leaderboards, cloud saves, progression), it helps us answer your support tickets, and it tells us — in aggregate — which circuits and features people actually use.
We never sell personal information, never share it with advertisers and never use it to profile you for third-party marketing. Aggregated, anonymised statistics may inform design decisions; your individual data stays yours.
Where Data Lives
Gameplay data stores on-device first and syncs to Australian-region servers for cloud save and leaderboards. Support correspondence is retained for 24 months to keep ticket history, then purged. Backups roll off within 90 days of deletion.
International transfers only occur where your app store account requires it, and always under contractual safeguards equivalent to the Australian Privacy Principles.
Your Rights
Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) you can request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold. You may also ask us to delete it — deletion covers account data, cloud saves and support history, though anonymised aggregate stats may persist.
To exercise any right, email [email protected] with the subject 'Privacy Request'. We verify identity via the account email and respond within 30 days — usually much faster.

Children's Privacy
Junior Pilot Academy accounts are designed for children and collect less than adult accounts by default: no marketing contact, no behavioural analytics and a sealed environment with no external links.
Parents control junior accounts through the family dashboard and can request full deletion at any time. We do not knowingly collect data from children outside this supervised framework.
We collect what the game needs to work. Everything else is your business, not ours.
Cookies & Tracking
The portal uses a small set of functional cookies (session, league region, cookie consent) and privacy-respecting analytics. Full details — including how to decline — are in the Cookie Policy.
There are no advertising trackers, no cross-site beacons and no fingerprinting scripts on this site. The cookie banner asks once and remembers your answer.
Changes & Contact
If this policy changes materially we announce it on the site banner and in the app before it takes effect — silent edits are against our charter. The current version always lives on this page with its update date.
